The Scent First Series of Dianthus make superb specimens for a patio pot: modern vigour, a neat growth habit and long-flowering are paired with all the traditional charms of old-fashioned pinks, including, of course, that classic, spicy fragrance. Dianthus ‘Passion’ has velvety red, double flowers borne on sturdy stems above a neat clump of grey-blue foliage. With diligent dead-heading it will produce blooms all summer. Perfect in containers but also useful for enlivening border edges with bright colour and scent. Height and spread: 45cm (18").
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
