These vibrant Cyclamen persicum ‘Pink’ are perfect for adding a splash of colour to your home or conservatory during the winter months. Normally grown as house plants, these half-hardy perennials are a lovely way of bringing the outdoors in, and are similar to the outdoor types which you see typically around trees in autumn only with larger, showier flowers set off against their wonderfully marbled foliage. Not strictly for indoor use only, being half hardy these Florist’s Cyclamen can handle a bit of cold, generally down to temperatures of around -5C (23F) which makes them suitable for dotting around under the shelter of trees and shrubs. They can also do well in an outdoor container or window box if offered protection when really cold weather hits. Height: 30cm (12”). Spread: 30cm (12”).

Water Indoor Cyclamen regularly between autumn and spring, to keep the compost reliably moist. Use tepid rainwater where possible, and allow the pot to drain well after each watering. Avoid overwatering as this may cause the plant to rot. House plants should be fed regularly while in active growth.
Florist’s Cyclamen are often treated as annuals, and discarded after flowering. However, they may be encouraged back into flower the following year if given a dry dormant season during the summer months. After flowering, allow the foliage to die back and stop feeding and watering until you see the first signs of growth in late autumn.
Caution: harmful if eaten
