Description
Thickets of bright yellow/green stems shine brightly through the winter months in your garden when little else is providing you with colour, Cornus sericea 'Flaviramea' is a low maintenance shrub, requiring very little attention once it is established. Spring will bring clusters of white flowers, turning into white berries later in the year and the light green leaves will also turn to shades of red and gold in the Autumn. This dogwood is ideal for borders or woodland gardens. Height: 200cm (79"). Spread: 400cm (157").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Cornus plants in any well drained soil. Choose a position in full sun.
More Info
Feed and water dogwoods regularly until fully established. Once established, they will require less attention. To encourage plenty of colourful stems, Dogwood will need regular pollarding in early spring. Cut back all dogwood stems to 3 buds above soil level or to a permanent low framework. Apply a mulch of well rotted manure or other organic matter around the base of the plant after pruning. Caution: Dogwood berries are harmful if eaten. Irritant to skin and eyes.
