Description

Prepare to be spellbound!  Coleus ‘Wizard Mix’ will cast its sorcery over your garden with its magical mix of dazzling shades. Coleus ‘Wizard Mix’ boasts an other-worldly palette of coral, apricot, orange, bronze, burgundy, purple and lime green, including bicolour patterns and contrasting picotee margins that deliver a final flourish to the design; Each and every wizard variety is totally distinct.

Adapting beautifully to shade, these bewitching Coleus will charm you with their supernatural ability to transform dull, dreary areas into luminous pools of energising colour. The velvety, serrated foliage is held on multi-branching, compact plants which bear few flowers, concentrating all their power into their weather-proof foliage which retains its colour throughout the season. These tender, tropical perennials are generally grown as annuals and can be used as outdoor plants or houseplants. Coleus are incredibly versatile, easy to grow, low maintenance and can even thrive in shade. Although flowers are produced, these are insignificant and best removed.

Why not put some abracadabra into your borders, patio pots or on your windowsill with this enchanting Coleus ‘Wizard Mix’ !

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only..

How to Grow
Pot up Coleus plug plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions for transplanting later on. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise painted nettle plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before transplanting them outdoors into beds, borders and containers. Plant Coleus plants in fertile, moist, well-drained soil in a sunny or semi-shaded position. Solenostemon can also be grown as houseplants, situated on a warm, bright window sill or in a conservatory or heated greenhouse.
More Info
Feed and water Coleus plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Remove any developing flower spikes as they will weaken the plant and cause poor quality foliage. Coleus houseplants should be given full light and a warm position in the winter months. Reduce watering and keep the compost just moist to prevent rotting and fungal diseases developing. Pinch back Solenostemon plants in the spring as growth resumes.
