Cauliflower ‘Sapporo’ is a perfect addition to any allotment or vegetable garden. They are perfect to grow in the garden or even in a greenhouse. It is a great option to grow after you have harvested your summer crops. It will grow and can be harvested before you need the space back for tomatoes the following year meaning your supply of cauliflower will arrive in the spring. It has great resistance to disease and is very productive. Its green leaves will protect the creamy white cauliflower from sunlight in the summer, and the frost in the winter. Height 45cm (18”) and spread 60cm (24”).

Water cauliflowers regularly and do not allow them to dry out as this may impair their development. Hoe between plants regularly to prevent weeds from establishing and bring insect larvae to the surface. Autumn cauliflowers can be harvested from late September when the curds are fully matured, and while they are still tight and firm. Culinary note: Cauliflowers freeze well.
