Description
Cauliflower Romanesco continuity collection is a wonderful mix of three great varieties. Colosseo which is a great alternative to the standard white cauliflower. It has stunning, architectural, green florets. The heads will grow to measure between 15 to 23cm (6 – 9”). Gitano is a deep green variety, filled with nutrients and curds of full spirals. Lazio is a Romanesco cauliflower which has been produced and developed to elongate the cropping period.

How to Grow
Remove the plants from packaging immediately in receipt. Water if the compost is dry. Once planted water well to help settle the soil. Plant in a well-drained soil in a position where it can get plenty of sun. Plant 45cm (18”) between plants and then 60cm (24”) between rows. In its early stages ensure it is watered regularly to help prevent the formation of small heads. Bend the larger leaves over the head to protect from the sun and help prevent discolouration.
More Info
Water cauliflowers regularly and do not allow them to dry out as this may impair their development. Hoe between plants regularly to prevent weeds from establishing and bring insect larvae to the surface. Autumn cauliflowers can be harvested from late September when the curds are fully matured, and while they are still tight and firm. Culinary note: Cauliflowers freeze well.

For more information on how we send your plants please visit our Helpful Guide on plant sizes.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
