  • Colosseo serves as a superb substitute for traditional white cauliflower, showcasing striking green florets with an architectural design. These heads can reach sizes of 15 to 23 cm (6 – 9”).
  • Gitano stands out with its rich green color, packed with nutrients and curds that form delightful spirals.
  • Tulio is a unique white ‘Romano’ type, celebrated for its outstanding flavor and beautifully whorled heads.

How to Grow
Remove the plants from packaging immediately in receipt. Water if the compost is dry. Once planted water well to help settle the soil. Plant in a well-drained soil in a position where it can get plenty of sun. Plant 45cm (18”) between plants and then 60cm (24”) between rows. In its early stages ensure it is watered regularly to help prevent the formation of small heads. Bend the larger leaves over the head to protect from the sun and help prevent discolouration.
More Info
Water cauliflowers regularly and do not allow them to dry out as this may impair their development. Hoe between plants regularly to prevent weeds from establishing and bring insect larvae to the surface. Autumn cauliflowers can be harvested from late September when the curds are fully matured, and while they are still tight and firm. Culinary note: Cauliflowers freeze well.
