Campanula carpatica 'Pearl White' is an easy-to-grow and versatile hardy perennial that is perfect for rockeries, edging paths or borders, ground cover, containers or planting into walls or paving. This low-growing bellflower forms cushiony mounds of toothed semi-evergreen foliage, which become festooned with large, upward-facing, pure white bell-shaped flowers in early summer. Flowering will continue for many weeks with regular deadheading. The ‘Pearl’ series is an improvement on the ‘Clips’ series, with larger flowers. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 45cm (18").

How to Grow

Plant Campanula into moist, but well-drained soil in sun or part shade. Try to avoid soil that sits wet over the winter months.

No pruning is required with Campanula, though deadheading will prolong the flowering period.
