Create the ultimate bird banquet with Bird Feeder Triple Pack and Feed Bundle. The bundle provides a menu to cater for all tastes – seeds, fatballs and peanuts - plus three specialised feeders to serve them up easily to your feathered friends. This bundle promises to attract a wide range of beautiful birds to your garden, from seed eaters like finches, to fat-ball fanatics like tits.
Bird Feeder Triple Pack and Feed Bundle contains one each of the following items:
- Happy Beaks Metal Hanging Bird Feeders (Pack of 3) - 1 x seed, 1x peanut and 1 x fat ball feeder. Each feeder comes with a domed top so that water runs off and keeps the feed clean and dry. The lids are also removable for easy, no-mess filling and cleaning. Each has a sturdy metal hanger. Made from durable stainless steel and an anti-rust powder-coated black treatment, the feeders will last for years to come.
- Happy Beaks All Season All Year Mix (5kg) - This mix contains the favourite seeds of starlings, sparrows, bluetits, finches, and many more of our garden visitors. Sunflower seeds, rapeseed oil, cereal and red dari all combine to form a highly nutritious source of energy to our feathered friends when other food sources may be scarce.
- High Energy Premium Fat Balls (Tub of 50 fat balls, 90g each) - Containing fats and oils enriched with sorghum seed, sunflower seed and other cereals, High Energy Premium Fat Balls provide an energy-dense meal throughout the year.
- Happy Beaks Peanut Splits (2.5kg) - Rich in fat, protein and fibre, and split for an easier meal. Not having to break up the peanuts means your feathered friends can get their meal quicker and smaller birds can get the oil-rich energy-hit too.
Alliums thrive in free-draining soils in full sun. If growing in clay soils, add grit when planting to improve drainage. Avoid planting in cold wet soils as the bulbs are prone to rot in these conditions. Plant allium bulbs at a depth of 10cm (4”) and a distance of 10cm (4”) apart. A slow release fertilizer can be added to poor soils at the time of planting to improve fertility. When growing alliums, plant them where the leaves of other plants will cover the base of their stems. This will hide the old foliage which dies back before flowering begins.
Alliums require little maintenance. Leave stems of faded allium flowers intact to enjoy their spectacular seed heads in autumn. Divide overcrowded clumps of alliums after flowering. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
