Description
Anthuriums are exotic and elegant. Their colourful bracts rise above glossy, heart shaped, evergreen foliage. These eye-catching house plants are perfect for adding a splash of colour to a bright spot, well away from the glare of the sun. Loved by interior designers, they add a stylish finish to a room, and make a showy focal point. Height and spread: 45cm (18").

Ceramic pot not included

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Please note: Some houseplants are toxic or harmful to pets if ingested. If you believe your pet has consumed a poisonous plant then seek veterinary attention immediately. Take a sample of the plant with you.

How to Grow
Anthurium requires a warm temperature above 15C (59F). Position it in a bright spot, away from direct sunlight and cold draughts.
More Info
Water frequently throughout summer to maintain evenly moist compost. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Anthurium will benefit from regular misting to increase humidity. Reduce watering in winter and move to a cooler room for around 6 weeks, to allow new flower buds to form.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
