More compact and earlier flowering than Alyssum saxatile, Alyssum montanum is a wonderful perennial rock plant, perfect for nestling in wall crevices, creeping over paving stones or covering ground along border edges and beneath shrubs. Rosettes of evergreen, grey-green leaves provide all year cover and interest whilst from March to early summer, it bears a dense carpet of golden yellow, sweet-smelling flowers clustered together in spherical flowerheads. Height: 15cm (6in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
