Based on a traditional formula, Organic Rose Food contains the three major plants foods – nitrogen, phosphate and potash.
Mixed together with natural magnesium to achieve healthy green leaves and abundant blooms, Organic Rose Food is a favourite amongst both rose and organic gardeners.
Organic Rose Food:
Made from poultry manure and enriched with potash derived from sugar beet
Provides a slow release of nutrients
100% organic.
Full of natural goodness, Organic Rose Food helps to improve the structure of the soil and allows the nutrients to be released slowly, giving an abundance of blooms throughout the growing season.
Organic Rose Food can be used for both new and established roses. If using with new roses, mix the rose food with the soil prior to planting.
For more established roses, apply Organic Rose Food evenly around the base of the plant in early spring, but keep granules off the leaves and stems. Repeat in early June.
Note: 1 gloved handful contains approximately 25g
For Established Plants
Apply 25g (approx 1 oz) evenly around the base of the plant in early Spring, keeping the granules off the leaves and stems. Hoe in lightly and water if the soil is dry. Repeat application in early June prior to the second flush of blooms.
Planting New Roses
Mix 50g (approx 2 oz) with the bottom soil, ensuring that the hole dug is both deep and wide enough to allow the roots to spread out evenly. The bud union should be 2.5cm below soil level when planting is completed.
Wear gloves when gardening and wash hands after use.
Store in a cool dry place away from children, pets and foodstuffs.
Some animals (particularly dogs) may be attracted to the organic ingredients and may attempt to eat the product. To reduce attraction and palatability mix well into the soil after application.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
