Description
Copper Slug Tape stops slugs and other gastropods in their tracks by providing a barrier to plants and crops.
Serrated to provide extra protection against snails, Copper Slug Tape is a popular alternative to more chemical based solutions.
Product Advantages:
  • Adhesive copper tape barrier
  • Emits a tiny electrical charge when touched
  • Excellent for use on pots and planters
It is the tiny electromagnetic charge a slug or snail feels when it tries to cross Copper Slug Tape which prevents them reaching the plants and crops.
A tiny electrical charge is created naturally from within the copper causing them to turn away.
Suitable for organic gardening, Slug Copper Tape comes in a four metre pack which will protect up to 12, five inch pots.
To use, remove the protective paper and apply direct to a dry, clean surface. Stick the tape in a complete circle around the pot or bed you want to protect.
Make sure any overhanging branches or leaves are trimmed away and do not overhang the protected area as these will act as a bridge for slugs to use.
As with any copper material, Copper Slug Tape will turn green with age, but will not affect the product’s performance.
    How To Use
Remove the protective paper and apply directly to a dry clean surface. Stick the tape in a complete circle around the pot or bed you want to protect with the serrated edge facing downward. Trim any branch which may over-hang the protected zone or that may act as a bridge for the pests to enter. As with any copper material, this tape will turn greenish with age but will not affect the performance of the product.

    Delivery

Delivery for items fulfilled and sold by Marketplace vendors is free of charge.

Thompson & Morgan strives to ensure that all its plants are delivered to you in the perfect condition for planting. While the majority of our nursery plants cope well with slight delays in intransit, sadly, the time it takes to deliver to certain locations in the UK means that we can't guarantee this for some of our smaller plug products and tender bedding and vegetable lines, which do not respond well to the extra journey time. So regretfully while we offer the majority of our live plant offering nationwide, we are unable to ship plugs, begging plants and tender vegetable plants to the following areas: HS, IV41-IV49, IV51, IV55-56, KW15-KW17, PA34, PA41-48, PA60-PA78, PA80, PH40-PH44, TR21-TR24, ZE1-ZE3
