Description

This collection of vibrant, summer flowering bulbs will fill your garden with a celebration of colour. Plant them in gaps among perennials or grow them together for a fantastic display in their own right. This generous collection combines traditional favourites and a few not so common varieties to bring a long season of interest to borders and containers. Why not cut a few for a vase indoors?

Collection comprises:

  • Allium Neapolitanum (50 Bulbs) - Clusters of pure white, starry, long-lasting flowers that are perfect for cutting.
  • Freesia Mixed (5 Bulbs) - Exquisitely scented, long lasting flowers in an attractive mix of colours.
  • Ixia Mix (5 Bulbs) - Clusters of star-shaped flowers with contrasting centres are carried above a clump of narrow, linear leaves.
  • Liatris spicata (15 Bulbs) - A showy, yet easy to grow plant, it offers plumes of mauve florets, which make a colourful display.
  • Oxalis 'Iron Cross' (60 Bulbs) - This ornamental Shamrock is as versatile as it is pretty.

Please note: Bulb varieties will be supplied labelled, in individual bags.

How to Grow
Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten. Summer flowering bulbs should be planted in spring, with the pointed end facing upwards, at a depth of approximately 3 times their height. When planting summer flowering bulbs, choose a sunny position in moist, free draining soil.
More Info
Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering before removing it. This will help to feed the bulb and ensure another cheery display next year. Lift bulbs in autumn when the foliage has died back. Carefully clean and label them before storing in a dry, frost free place. Summer bulbs can be replanted in spring for another fantastic display.
