Description
Spiraea are popular deciduous shrubs and this dwarf variety has a mound forming habit which adds an ornamental charm to any garden setting. The RHS have awarded this plant a place on their list of RHS plants for pollinators, and you'll very quickly see why the insects love this plant so much. Attractive red flowers form in summer, fading to pink and then to pure white. Bright green tooth-shaped foliage is hung from slender stems and it's no surprise that Spiraea japonica 'Genpei' is a popular choice for landscapers all over the country. It thrives on nearly all soils that allow for drainage in a sunny or slightly shaded position. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 150cm (59").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
