Description
A popular sight and a striking one too, Zebra Grass produces distinctive green blade like leaves, each randomly striped with horizontal cream bands. Come autumn, tall flower plumes sit high above the foliage which last well into the winter. Miscanthus sinensis ‘Zebrinus’ is very easy to grow and makes an interesting focal point in many gardens. Deservedly awarded a RHS AGM for its all round performance. Height: 150cm (59”). Spread: 90cm (35”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Miscanthus grass in fertile, moist, well drained soil in full sun. Miscanthus Grass may resent soils that sit wet in winter. Prior to planting, improve drainage on particularly heavy soils by incorporating plenty of well rotted compost and grit.
More Info
Feed and water Miscanthus plants regularly until fully established. Cut back dead foliage and stems to ground level in early spring before new growth appears. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of Miscanthus grass every third year to maintain their vigour.
