Description
Grown for its purple tinged foliage and bright scarlet flowers, Lobelia cardinalis is a superb hardy perennial. Cardinal Flowers thrive in boggy soils and at the shallow edges of ponds, casting majestic reflections over still water. This striking marginal aquatic has been awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, bringing a bright splash of late summer colour to the garden. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 15cm (6") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
