Tillandsia are epiphytic plants which do not require compost to grow. Position Air Plants in bright, filtered light with good air circulation, at a minimum temperature of 5C (41F).
More Info Water frequently from spring to autumn by immersing the entire plant in rainwater or misting thoroughly. Allow the plant to completely drain and dry after each watering. Frequency of soaking can be reduced in winter. Feed monthly by adding a small amount of bromeliad fertiliser to misting water.
