1 Packet (50 Seeds) (32492)
Sow seed at any time of the year in pots or trays of moist seed compost, and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator at a temperature of 20-25C (68-77F) or seal inside a polythene bag. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged. Do not exclude light as this helps germination, which usually takes 14-30 days. Once germinated, remove from propagator and grow seedlings on in cooler conditions.
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3”) pots and grow on until plants are well-established. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out after all risk of frost in a light, well-drained soil in full sun.
Seeds and garden supplies will normally be delivered within the time period stated against each product as detailed above.
