The Kew Flowerhouse range of seeds from Thompson and Morgan has been specially created alongside the experts at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew to bring the beauty of the garden inside. This outstanding range of handpicked seeds are perfect for enjoying in the garden or in the home. This range includes show-stopping flowers and elegant floral fillers ideal for a bouquet.
Daucus carota ‘Dara’ is one of those plants which needs to be appreciated en masse, creating a gauzy haze which casts a dreamy spell over borders! Delicate lacy umbels in shades of burgundy, pink and white are held on long, stiff stems above ferny foliage. Use them to fill gaps in mixed perennial borders or combine them with other wildflowers for a naturalistic planting. Like other umbellifers – the nectar-rich blooms attract beneficial pollinators whilst the seed-heads are appreciated by birds. Loved by florists, they make a charming addition to informal arrangements. Height: 80cm (31"). Spread: 40cm (16").
