Description
Large, golden yellow goblet blooms herald the arrival of spring. This RHS AGM variety is robust and strong growing - perfect for planting in rockeries, naturalising in grass, or growing in large groups beneath trees and shrubs for an explosion of bright colour in the spring. Alternatively grow Crocus 'Yellow Mammoth' in containers and window boxes where they can be appreciated up close. The flowers are also a great source of early nectar and pollen for bees. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 5cm (2").

How to Grow
Grow crocus in any well drained garden soil in sun or semi shade. Spring flowering crocus bulbs should be planted during the autumn, in large clumps at a depth of 10cm (4") and at a distance of 7cm (3") apart. Alternatively grow them in containers or naturalised in grass.
More Info
Allow the strap like foliage to die back naturally after flowering. Avoid mowing areas of grass where crocus are naturalised until they have completely died back.
