Description
Cephalanthus occidentalis ‘Fiber Optics’ is a compact shrub with unusual round pale pink or white flowers which last a long time and have a lovely fragrance. These stunning flowers are succeeded by round masses of nutlets with seeds through the winter. The nectar is very popular with pollinators and the seeds attract plenty of wildlife too such as robins and ducks. Height and spread 150cm (59”).

How to Grow
Grow Cephalanthus in fertile, humus rich, moist but well drained, non alkaline soil. Choose a position where it will benefit from full sun.
More Info
Feed and water Cephalanthus regularly until fully established. Prune Buttonbushes in early spring, cutting back stems to a permanent woody framework close to the base of the plant.
