Elegant, large white spathes make a magnificent display in early summer. The architectural blooms rise above a backdrop of glossy, arrow-shaped foliage that forms a dense, rounded clump. Zantedeschia aethiopica 'Crowborough' is a well-loved variety awarded a coveted RHS AGM. This glamorous Arum Lily makes a handsome-looking feature plant for damp borders, bog gardens or planted in the shallow margins of ponds. Height and spread: 90cm (36"). Planting depth: Zones 1, 2 and 3 to 20cm (8") below water level.

How to Grow

Zantedeschia can be grown in reliably moist soil, or as a marginal plant in ponds, standing in water up to 20cm (8") deep. These Arum Lilies can also be grown in containers of rich, fertile, loam based compost such as John Innes No. 2 that can be moved to a dry, frost free position during cooler winters.
