Their tall stems and glamorous blooms make a breath-taking display that will last for weeks. It’s easy to see why they make such stunning gifts!

Presented in a glossy globe, each colossal bulb will already be in bud and raring to shoot upwards for a spectacular display. Perfect for creating a magnificent table centrepiece, or adding a luxuriant splash of colour to your windowsill on those dark winter days.

Supplied in bud inside a globe (designs may vary).

How to Grow
Plant amaryllis bulbs in containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No.2., and place in a bright, warm position in full sun. Plant amaryllis bulbs so that the shoulders of the bulb protrude above ground level. Water only sparingly until the stems appear.
More Info
Gradually increase watering as the stems develop, and feed amaryllis plants regularly during active growth. After flowering, deadhead the faded blooms and cut away the old stems from their base, leaving the foliage intact. Continue to feed and water amaryllis bulbs until the leaves begin to yellow and die back and the bulb enters its dormant period. During dormancy, keep the compost just moist and move containers of amaryllis to a cool, dry position until active grown begins again. Container-grown amaryllis bulbs should only be repotted every 3 to 5 years as they resent root disturbance and prefer to be slightly pot bound.
